Birthday Cake? No problem--hand it over.

Ila's first "real" hairdo---Oh the possibilities!
Randy's family visited and celebrated Ila's 1st birthday with us----we were going to go to the animal safari, but it poured rain, so we went bowling instead----I of course was SO happy because I LOVE to bowl. The kids had a great time & were happiest when it was their turn.

Gus & his friend Tristan---an intense moment---will the ball actually make it all the way down the lane without stopping?

Another intense moment for Gus---what's he thinking? I know what I'm thinking. . .please make it all the way to the pins--come on ball!

A year in the making.

Ila turns one tomorrow. Happy Birthday Booger!!
(we call her that because honestly she has the biggest boogers----not the nickname I thought I would have for my baby girl---but it fits.)

600 cans.

I've been wanting one of these for a while a now & we finally broke down & bought one---and I have to tell ya, I'm in love. You can configure your rows to whatever you want---so I ordered 6 small rows for all my veggie cans, fruit cans, cream of cans, etc & it rotates the cans!!!

This baby holds SO many cans & it's already made my life easier. I was able to find 4 other people that wanted one also, so between the sale that shelfreliance.com was having & the discount for buying so many--I saved $190! Wooohooo!!!

Only wish I'd thought/created/invented the shelf myself. . . (if that was the case, I probably would have enough money for a BIG pantry in which to put my shelf---but it's not the case, so for now it'll have to stay in the Ila's room)

A blog all my own.

We have a blog with Randy's family. . .and I still plan on blogging there. . .but I've decided it's time for me to branch out---plus I felt like I was hogging all the space on that blog. . .Here goes.

I imported most of my posts from the murray family blog.

Shout hooray.

The big #4 for Charlie is tomorrow, we celebrated today & had cupcakes & icecream, went to toys r' us & took him to eat pizza. Family came to town to celebrate, too. He LOVED it being his birthday--but who wouldn't.
Gus has been OBSESSED with toy story now for about 3 weeks. Neither of the boys have really gotten into any movies or characters for that matter. . .until a friend let us borrow toy story. Ever since then, it's been woody this & woody that. He was so HAPPY to discover we had bought him a jessie & woody doll. I've never seen him happier. . .
